Thanksgiving Hangover

…Oh Man What A What Feeling

It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and I have a headache. But, let me start off by sharing how my Thanksgiving went.

After we woke up we did the usual rounds of Holiday phone calls. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, seeing who was going where, and bringing what (this alone took up a couple of hours).

We were bringing a cranberry and walnut pie, and wow was it good (more on that later).

Approximately 387 Years ago the first traditional Thanksgiving took place. Today we will gather with our loved ones to celebrate the many things in life that we are thankful for. For some, it can be surviving the financial mess, having a job, a family, friends. For others, it can be just making it to see another Thanksgiving.

It’s a time to enjoy good food, good people, and good games while being able to give thanks for the ups and downs of the past Year.
